Imagine visit a city where its center is in the middle of a Palace. That´s Split.

Diocletian´s Palace is a building in Split, Croatia. Its construction is dated in the 4th century by the Roman Emperor Diocletian.

The Palace was abandoned remaining empty for several centuries, but in the 7th century nearby residents fled to the walled Palace to escape from barbarian invasion.

Since then the place has been occupied, with residents and business shops, and the actuality is the most important center of this touristic city.

With an incredible preservation it´s  one of the most famous and complete architectural and cultural features on the Croatian Adriatic Coast, Diocletian´s Palace was considered World Cultural Heritage by Unesco in 2006.

Visit Split and that cultural and architectural center is one of the most important touristic points of Croatia. And only 45 km from Abuela´s Beach House!!!
